Combination Between Technology and Culture Indonesia (Batik Fractal)

Batik Fractal, the word ‘Batik’ is a well known term for traditional hand made with specific pattern fabric, a cultural icon of Indonesia and has been known as one of the World Heritages, since 2009.

Batik Fractal is an innovation, a product and a brand (Batik Fractal Indonesia). We create batik patterns using fractal formula on jBatik Software, and then apply them into fabric with traditional hand writing or stamping resist dye coloring with traditional batik artisans.

Our software generatively creates batik patterns. Combined with a hand-made process, it will bring out a contemporary batik fabric.
